Although built with the American market in mind, most stayed in Sweden. The Volvo P1900 Sport went into production in 1956 and lasted just a year — short-lived, but full of ambition. Cabriolet roof, hand-finished details, and a quiet kind of confidence. Not bad for a first try at a sports car.
