Volvo Car Belux Appoints Michel De Coninck as New Managing Director and Head of Western Europe Cluster

Volvo Car Belux announces the appointment of Michel De Coninck as its new Managing Director. He will also assume leadership of the Western Europe cluster. With over 30 years of experience at Volvo Cars, both locally and internationally, Michel De Coninck brings exceptional knowledge of the brand and the market.

Over the past few decades, Michel De Coninck has held various management positions at Volvo Cars. This extensive experience gives him a unique and comprehensive understanding of Volvo Cars' business model.

In his new role, Michel De Coninck will be responsible for the continued development of Volvo Car Belux and the management of the Western Europe cluster. His objective will be to strengthen Volvo's market position and accelerate the transition to a fully electric sales model.

"2026 will be a particularly promising year for Volvo," says Michel De Coninck. “With the arrival of the all-new Volvo EX60, which we will unveil on January 21, we are taking a significant step towards our electric future. Volvo Car Belux annonce la nomination de Michel De Coninck en tant que nouveau Managing Director. Il assumera également la direction du cluster Europe de l’Ouest. Fort de plus de 30 ans d’expérience au sein de Volvo Cars, tant au niveau local qu’international, Michel De Coninck apporte une connaissance exceptionnelle de la marque et du marché.

 

Au cours des dernières décennies, Michel De Coninck a occupé diverses fonctions de direction chez Volvo Cars. Cette vaste expérience lui confère une vision unique et globale du modèle économique de Volvo Cars.

Dans son nouveau rôle, Michel De Coninck sera responsable du développement continu de Volvo Car Belux ainsi que de la gestion du cluster Europe de l’Ouest. Son objectif sera de renforcer la position de Volvo sur le marché et d’accélérer la transition vers un modèle de vente entièrement électrique.
