New features and design upgrades make the Volvo EX30 more attractive than ever
For the
upcoming model year, Volvo EX30 customers can look forward to new entry-level
powertrains, elevated interior design, and an expanded Black Edition
offering. The EX30 will also be available with Vehicle-to-Load (V2L)
functionality, allowing the car to act as a powerbank and supply energy to
other devices and appliances. In addition, forthcoming software updates will
introduce a more intuitive user experience. Several of the features will also
be available to current EX30 drivers, free of charge, via over-the-air software
updates.

some big improvements to our smallest ever premium electric

enhancing the user experience, introducing new premium interior options and
adding smart technology like the possibility to transform the car into
a powerbank for charging other electrical devices, we’re making everyday life
easier and more enjoyable.”
The EX30
Cross Country range is also expanding, with the addition of a Plus trim level
and a more efficient single-motor option.
The power you need
The Volvo EX30 introduces a new powertrain that delivers 110kW (150PS) with a
51kWh battery and 339km of range, a perfect entry option for the person who
needs a premium electric experience for the everyday
commute. Alternatively, for those who enjoy the occasional longer drive, you
can upgrade to a larger 69kWh battery for up to 476km of range. Together with
the existing powertrain options, these updates mean customers now have even
greater freedom to choose the configuration that best suits their needs.
More intuitive and ready for new tasks
A new UX update improves access to the controls that matter most to you. A
completely redesigned settings and controls system brings the right controls
closer at hand, along with a customizable content bar that lets you use the
space for predictive actions or the actions most important to you.
In
addition, the Volvo EX30 is hardware-ready to offer Vehicle-to-Load, a
technology that allows customers to store energy in the battery of their
electric Volvo and use it later. This function (V2L), initially available in
selected markets, can transform the EX30 into a powerbank for charging other
electrical devices, like an electric bicycle, or to power appliances such as
electrical tools, sound systems and camping gear. All you need is an adapter
that connects your car with the appliance.*
The addition
of V2L and the new UX are planned to be provided through over-the-air software
updates during summer to new and existing EX30 customers.
New exciting design options
The EX30 now also introduces two additional premium interior rooms.
The
‘Harvest’ interior room offers a warm light-toned aesthetic inspired by
late Scandinavian summer evenings. It includes light-coloured woven recycled
textile upholstery, subtly contrasting Nordico upholstery made from recycled
material such as PET bottles, elegant dark flax décor, and a black headlining
for a contemporary, natural feel.
The ‘Black’
interior room comes in a deep-black shade, where the smooth Nordico upholstery
with slightly contrasting seams is paired with natural, dark flax décor
for a timeless look.
The EX30 Black
Edition is now also available with the new ‘Black’ interior room. In addition,
three exterior colours can be specified: Onyx Black, Vapour Grey and Crystal
White.

entry level electric cars are growing fast, and EX30 has been a leader in this
segment since it was launched,” says Erik Severinson, Chief Commercial Officer
at Volvo Cars. “The latest EX30 will further increase our addressable market in
this segment, be a driver of electrified growth for Volvo Cars and attract more
customers towards full electrification, together with our electrical options in
all other size segments.”

Plus intuitive et prête pour de nouvelles tâches
La EX30 est techniquement prête pour la fonctionnalité
Vehicle-to-Load, une technologie permettant aux clients de stocker de l’énergie
dans la batterie de leur Volvo électrique et de l’utiliser ultérieurement.
Cette fonction (V2L) peut transformer la EX30 en batterie externe pour
recharger d’autres appareils électriques, comme un vélo électrique, ou
alimenter des équipements tels que des outils électriques, des systèmes audios
ou du matériel de camping. Il suffit d’un adaptateur reliant la voiture à
l’appareil.*
L’ajout du V2L sera déployé via mises à jour over-the-air
durant l’été, aussi bien pour les nouveaux clients que pour les propriétaires
actuels de la EX30.
De nouvelles options de design enthousiasmantes
La EX30 introduit également deux nouveaux intérieurs
premium.
L’intérieur « Harvest » offre une esthétique chaleureuse et
lumineuse inspirée des fins d’été scandinaves. Elle comprend un textile recyclé
tissé de couleur claire, un revêtement Nordico contrasté fabriqué à partir de
matériaux recyclés comme des bouteilles PET, un décor élégant en lin foncé et
un ciel de toit noir pour une atmosphère naturelle et contemporaine.
L’intérieur « Charcoal » propose une teinte noir profond où
le revêtement Nordico lisse, aux coutures légèrement contrastées, est associé à
un décor en lin foncé, créant un style intemporel.
La EX30 Black Edition est désormais proposée avec le nouvel
intérieur « Charcoal ». Trois couleurs extérieures sont disponibles : Onyx
Black, Vapour Grey et Crystal White.
