Is this the longest ever journey home for a Volvo Car? Meet Kevin and Kaz’s Volvo 122S Amazon, built in Gothenburg, Sweden in 1963. In 2024, they competed with it in The Africa Rally, a reliability and endurance run. The car, still with her original ‘B18’ engine, performed exceptionally well covering 8,000 km on rough roads in less than a month. Now safely back in the UK, Kevin and Kaz recently drove to World of Volvo to bring their Amazon back to Gothenburg, Sweden for the first time in over 60 years.
