Right in time for #COP26, we are warmly welcoming a new addition to the Embassy.
From now on, the Swedish Ambassador will be travelling around London in
a fully electric Volvo XC40 Recharge.
We are delighted for this step towards a #FossilFreeFuture, and towards the Swedish
Government’s goal of #NetZero emissions of greenhouse
gases by 2045, and negative emissions thereafter.
With this car, we are doing our bit to support today’s significant
expansion of London’s Ultra Low Emission Zone, aimed at protecting Londoners
from toxic air pollution. Hats off to our wonderful host city – and let’s all
work together to reach substantial #ClimateAction.
